The Source Spokane enjoyed a Thanksgiving Dinner with all our staff and residents. We rented a hall due to the number of people we now have! There were games and cooking contests. One of our residents won for the best side with his gourmet baked beans recipe. It was great to have all our Source youth there, we are very thankful for the opportunity we have been given to help them grow past the challenges they have faced.

We are amazed at the kindness and resilience of our staff team as well. These people have shown our kids incredible care and patience. We truly have so much to be thankful for!

Here is another thankful moment; one of our River Bluff boys was excited to try on his new snow gear (nevermind that it was just before bedtime!) We are deeply grateful for our generous donors who help make this holiday season brighter for these kids. It’s thanks to contributions from supporters like you that our kids can recieve the necessary snow gear, Christmas gifts, and warm winter clothes.

We enjoyed hosting the kids at our Office on October 31st. Our office crew decorated and set up games and prizes. It was great to see the kids in their creative costumes, and a special treat to see our staff show up in costumes as well!

We want to thank our amazing staff team for loving these kids so well, taking on extra shifts, keeping a good sense-of -humor in the midst of hardships and looking out for each other!

Prayer Points

As always, pray for our residents to grow in health and wholeness. Pray for them to learn to consider their choices and the impact of those decisions.

Pray for our staff team to receive strength, wisdom and the resilience that we all need in order to love well.

Pray for the new hires coming in to catch our heart and the culture we are working to cultivate here.

Pray for our ties with Washington State to grow in strength and that we gain favor with all those we are working with.

Pray for our Malawi team to be strengthened, and for the funds to come in for further development of our land.
