We don’t always realize what a beautiful thing it is to be able to dream. To have ideas and ambitions for possibilities up ahead is truly a gift. We want to awaken the dreams within our kids that may have been forgotten. We want to impart in them a sense of purpose & adventure. We want to stir up the confidence to explore and discover their own giftings and talents.

We also hope to stir up our communities to be agents of change; to believe that love never fails, and with love, all things are possible, even miraculous transformations that defy all odds.

Let’s dream together for the future of these youth and let’s be examples to them of tenacious faith and radical kindness that leads to action.

With our residents out of school our programing expands in a big way. Discovering ways to make connections and memories with the kids is a joy! We are so thankful for the creative ideas our Program Managers and staff come up with!

Meet Our Staff

Steven is one of the Program Managers at our River Bluff youth home. He first came to us in 2018 after working in Emergency Foster Care for 7 years.

“ I've learned many things since being here but what sticks out the most is that there is a huge hole in the foster care system. Many of our residents have been in the system for years (I've actually met quite a few of them at my former job when they were younger). Many kids end up bouncing around from place to place over the years. To me this says that something is missing and more needs to be done to care for the thousands of kids in the system. It makes me appreciate even more what we do.”

We are very thankful for Steven’s many contributions to our team here and all the ways that he mentors and cares for the boys at River Bluff!

This will be the 4th outreach trip taken by a team from The Source to Malawi. We are excited to have 3 of our Program Managers (Daniel, Steven & Joshua) as well as our Ministry Director & her husband (Naphtali & Kenny) joining Chris in this effort.

Our focus is to come alongside & bring encouragement and strength to those who have been tirelessly serving in the local villages. Up to this point we have helped build a church, drilled wells, sustained 2 homes for orphans, and contributed to the weekly feeding programs. Moving forward we intend to finance the drilling of another well and hope to purchase land which will create a more sustainable situation for our orphan homes.
