Staff Appreciation BBQ

Our staff are amazing people and we love to show them how much they mean to us! They each carry their own story, sense-of-humor and giftings, and they choose to use these qualities to care for young men and women that desperately need mentors. They choose to invest their lives into bringing healing and hope. They choose to do the less-than-glamorous job of cooking, cleaning and training someone else’s kid. They tenaciously hold to the hope that what they are doing will make a difference, even when facing an escalated kid who is insulting and unappreciative. These people are incredible!

Management Retreat

We currently have 12 Program Managers. These are the ‘house parents’ at each of our homes. They care for the kids, look after the staff, write out activity calendars, handle the incident reports, keep up with the kids’ appointments, school schedules, meds and much more! These people are the ones that keep our homes running smoothly and set the culture and tone for each house. We are beyond thankful for these individuals and all that they do!

In July we had an overnight retreat near Sandpoint, Idaho. It was a good time to gather and center ourselves as a team. We learned, laughed, problems-solved, swam and played a few great games. We also discovered some interesting facts about our various personalities and tips on how to communicate successfully with one another.
